Puppy Dog Collar and Lead Sets

We recommend that a puppy is introduced to a collar and lead as soon as possible because the first few months after a puppy arrives in it's new home is the most important learning time for the puppy.

This is the time when Puppy should be introduced to as many experiences as possible - traffic noise, lawn mowers, children, vacuum cleaners, having a bath, having nails clipped, trips in the car and so on. A puppy will learn now to take in it's stride that which might make it anxious if encountered later in life (our dog was spooked by people with umbrellas for a while!)

Most people consider a collar is an essential accessory for a dog and many people will want to walk their dog using a lead in areas of traffic or other dangers and so we'd advise you to begin as soon as possible getting your new little baby puppy used to a collar and lead.
